Why? Know MessiahWhat Shall He Do?When will He Come? How will we Know Him?Is He just a man?If not Yeshua then Who?Is Yeshua for the Jews?

Is the Messiah Just a Man?

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.  (Isaiah Ch 9 verse 6)

This passage from the prophet Isaiah speaks of a male who would be called El Gibor (Mighty God), Avi ad (Eternal Father).

Let’s be honest. If God can create the universe and all that is in it, certainly He can make Himself appear to us as a man.   God proclaims a strict prohibition throughout the T’NAKH against worshipping false gods.   Most all of these were idols of stone, wood, gold, or just people’s vain imaginations.    That does not mean that one should not worship the real and true God if He comes.

There are in fact numerous accounts in the T'NaKh where God appeared as a man (read Genesis Chapter 18, Genesis Chapter 32 verses 24-30, Joshua Chapter 5 verses 13-15, Judges chapter 2 verse 1).
